背景資料：

This antibody preparation contains a mixture of purified rat monoclonal antibodies directed against mouse GPIb (CD42b). Targeting of this receptor with divalent IgGs results in profound and irreversible Fc-independent platelet depletion in mice1,2 . Platelet depletion is frequently used to study the general role of platelets in (patho-) physiology3 .

保存條件：

The antibodies were purified from hybridoma cell culture supernatant by Protein G-Sepharose chromatography.

Stable for six months from date of shipment when stored at 4°C.

KEEP STERILE, the preparation contains no preservative. Aliquots can be stored at -20°C for at least one year. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

應(yīng)用：

This preparation is optimized to reduce the platelet count by >95% within 60 minutes after intravenous injection of 2 µg/g bodyweight. It is recommended to inject the antibodies in a volume of 100-200 µl (diluted with sterile PBS).
